General Function: Maintains accountablility and control fo all Center equipment, food, supplies and materials.

 

Essential Functions:

1.) Maintains records of inventory and periodic audits of inventory to ensure accuracy of reports.

2.) Coodrinates movement of all supplies into and out of the warehouse.

3.) Compiles records involving quantity, cost and type of material or supplies recieved, stored and issued to departments.

4.) Inspects articles recieved and rejects defective ones.

5.) Maintains records of the value of supplies and stock on hand.

6.) Notifies supervisor of all missing equipment and supplies.

7.) Stores and catalogs incoming goods, materials and supplies according to appropriate procedures.

8.) Maintains current inventory records to ensure that stock is adequate and initiates reorders upon request of Supervisor.

9.) Issues stock and clothing when applicable and maintains accurate records of the exchange process.

10.) Notifies supervisor and requesting departments of items received in a timely manner.

11.) Describe goals, performacne expectations and standards, and articulate how their individual performance supports the admission, career preparation, career development and career transition of students.

DUTIES

Other Functions:

1.) Exhibits behaviors and best practices that are consistent with the vision and values of the company.

2.) Practices social skills and behavior management with studetns and staff that are consistent with the Job Corps Social Skills Training Programs and Behavior Management System.

3.) Practices safe work habits to eliminate and control potential safety and health hazards and to maintain a safe work enviroment. Attends all safety training as scheduled.

4.) Works as part of the team to assure that Performance Outcome Measurement Report Card goals obtained.

5.) Displays, supports and integrates employability skills, attitudes and knowlege into all phases of career development and student life on Center.

6.) Operates Center vehicles to provide transportation for students as assigned/needed.

7.) Performas other job-related duties as may be assigned by designated and/or authorized staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

An Associate Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing or the equivalent and one year of expereicne in record keeping, warehousing, supply and/or inventory.

 

OR

 

A High School Diploma or GED equivalent five yeras of experience in record keeping, warehousing, supply and/or inventory required.

 

NOTE: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accouting or Marketing is preffered.

Substitution: Education and experience above the high school level may be combined to meet the minimum requirements for this position. One year of college education may be subsituted for two years of Job Corps experience or expereicne in a simlar area.

Licenses or Certificates: A valid Regular Driver License is required.
